IoFMA will pair you with a teacher, unless you have chosen one already. The teacher will get to know your skill level and interest in music to best access the teaching style and pace of the lesson. There is no pressure to perform in any lesson. We want our students to feel welcome and at home.
Each student is different. Depending on your passion and skill level, we can work together to create a plan for weekly lessons. Most students prefer to start with one lesson a week for 30 minutes or 1 hour. However, many do pursue lessons twice a week for 30 minutes. Most students take one half-hour private music lesson per week.
